Internship Bar

Did you ever work in a bar before, or do you have experience in other areas of this sector? If yes, an internship in a bar or in a restaurant in one of our hotels might be something for you. 

We expect you to be on time every day. Look neat and be dressed well. Have a friendly attitude towards guests and stay calm even in situations where you are stressed. 

We prefer students who already have experience in this work area. Knowledge of foreign languages is the most important condition.

Needed skills

Independence: You have to be able to work independently.  Recognise problem situations and try to solve them.

Punctuality: Be on time every day. If you work in a hotel, you do not let your guests wait.

Professionalism: We expect you to act professionally in every situation of your stay. Besides the hotel you work for, you represent StageSpain as well as your home country and of course yourself.

Team work: Team work is really important in the tourism sector. We expect you to be a support for your team.

Representative: Be dressed properly and wear clean cloth every day. Behave yourself during working ours as well as in your free time. Do not forget, you represent your hotel.

Able to work under pressure: To work in the tourism sector is not easy. You have to work hard. To work at night is not unusual. We expect you to stay calm and friendly even in situations where you are stressed.

Spontaneity: Be spontaneous in every situation. Fill in if somebody calls sick. Your colleagues will appreciate it. Show initiative, listen to guests and try to solve problems independently
